CONCERNING STIPULATION OF
IMPORT CUSTOMS COST TARIFF FOR CERTAIN IMPORTATION OF POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Considering :

• a. Whereas to improve the growth of Polyester Film industry in our country, then it is considered necessary to stipulate Import Customs Cost Tariff for the importation of the Main Material for Polyethylene Terephthalate;
• b. Whereas based on consideration as referred to in point a, then it is necessary to stipulate Regulation of the Minister of Finance concerning Import Customs Cost Tariff for the importation of Certain Importation of Polyethylene Terephthalate

In view of:

• 1. Law No. 7/1994 concerning Agreement of WTO Establishment;
• 2. Law No. 10/1995 about Customs Affairs;
• 3. Presidential Decree No. 20/P/2005;
• 4. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 545/KMK.01/2003 about Stipulation of Goods/Material Classification System;
• 5. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 547/KMK.01/2003 about Stipulation of Import Customs Cost Tariff for importation goods.

DECIDES :

To Stipulate:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING STIPULATION OF IMPORT CUSTOMS COST TARIFF FOR CERTAIN IMPORTATION OF POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE.

Article 1

For the import of Polyethylene Terephthalate in the granule form with inherent viscosity 0, 59 until 0.63 (Post Tariff ex.3907.60.90.000), shall be charged 0% (zero percent) of Import Customs cost Tariff.

Article 2

Tariff of Import Customs Cost as referred to in Article 1 shall taken effect to importation of goods which has Registered Number for its Importation Goods Notification document which issued by Service Office of Directorate general of Customs and Excise in the entry port and this become valid since the date of stipulation of this regulation.

Article 3

Director General of Customs and Excise shall be instructed to implement the provision in this Regulation of Minister of Finance.

Article 4

This Minister Regulation shall take into effect since the date of stipulation and valid for twelve months since 01 June 2006.

For everyone to take cognizance thereof, this Minister of Finance Regulation shall be promulgated by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
